Once you have registered at Workdig, you will find members using the site as a tool to make connections in job leads, career moves, recruitment and a variety of other topics community members create.
The topics and questions can be:

These are some of the questions that members will help to answer. How to Register?
Click on Join Us then create a new account.

 

How to Create a Profile?
Click on Join Us  then create a new account. When you register at Workdig you will be able to search jobs on the homepage, submit comments, upload videos, post your resume in your profile, add your photo and add friends to your profile. With Workdig you can tag your favorites, and give others leads on jobs or you can seek out advice on various topics. When the member lists their work experience and education background they are then able to seek out advice from other members.

 

How to access your information?
Our members have the ability to review and change the information by logging on and changing the information themselves. It is your responsibility to change your user id, email address, and contact information.

 

How to advise a Community Member? 
Click on either send a message or send a Comment by submitting to the listing. When a person submits a comment their Picture (if you have one), User name, City, State, and time of posting will appear.

 

How to upload a Video?
First you need to upload or find video at youtube and get the embedded link to specific video.
Then login to dashboard and click on videos. Add new Video Then enter that link to video at youtube and click on Parse button if you want to take info from youtube about that video, or manually add Video information. Then Click on add video and it would be added.

 

What is Submit Listing?
Community Members can submit a listing either on career advice, educational advice, job postings, looking for a lead, job reviews, resume writing, or other topic.  When a person submits a listing their Picture (if you have one), User name, City, State, and time of posting will appear.
     
How to Submit Listings?
You need to login to dashboard, click on Listings, and Add Listing link, then fill in all required information. The more information you enter on the listing the better for the community member researching the posting.

 

What type of Listing can be done?
Community Members can submit anything that can help themselves or other community members in job leads, career moves, resume writing and a variety of other topics. It is the community members that create the questions, answers and of course the experience.  Some examples would be:

• I am willing to pay for lead in a Job in Market Research in New York City. It must pay $50,000 plus. The person lists the criteria.
• I am an experienced warehouse manager looking for work in Kansas City
• I am Registered nurse looking for work in California.
• XYZ Company an Equipment Manufacturer of Oil and Gas Separators is looking for Account Representative.
• Our Chicago, IL Branch is looking for the following positions:

5 PIPEFITTERS, 2 EXPERIENCED LABOURERS, 4 ESTIMATORS
Experience in oil and gas field production

What are Comments?
In this section, Community Members can leave comments to other members on a variety of topics. An example of comments could be, “Don’t work for that company because or based on my experience in that type of job was fabulous.  Each time you comment on a subject it is stored in your user profile.

 

How to Submit Comments?
Click on the Comment key and then enter the response title, write a detail response to the listing then preview the posting and finally accept or decline Pay for Lead. When a person submits a comment their Picture (if you have one), User name, City, State, and time of posting will appear.
    
What is Bookmarks?
Bookmarks are for future reference so that you can review them in the future.

 

How to submit bookmarks?
Click on the Bookmark key and it will save it in your member profile.

 

How to review your Comments, Videos, Bookmarks and Submitted listings?
To review all comments, videos, bookmarks and submitted listings click on Member Login and login into your account.

 

What is Category?
This is where community member’s categories the listings.

 

How to Browse Categories?
Click on Browse Category and search through the categories and towns.

 

How to review reports?
Click on Member Login and enter your information. Once in account you can view your comments, videos, and listing through the Dashboard.

 

How to report problems or abuse?

What is # of Views?
Each time some one clicks on the listing that is a view.

 

What is Rate this Video?
What the community members think of your video by giving it a score from 1 to 10.

 

How to Search Tags?
The Workdig site allows you to search on keywords, qualifications, tags, location plus other unique features.

What is Featured video?
This section shows automatically latest added videos.

What is Popular Video?
Popular video is videos that are popular for the day, or for the month, also depending on views or rating.

What is Popular Tags?
The most popular tags at listings, tags are sorted by alphabet.

What is Invite Friends?
Attract more friends to open opportunities in Job career.

What is My Messages?
My message is where you can send messages to your partners, individuals or companies.

What is My Profile?
Manage all your profiles settings

What is My Videos?
Expose yourself with video to attract individuals or companies.

What is the Search bar?
This is a way to search quickly in videos and posts. If nothing is found the text should be displayed “Nothing found matching your search criteria!” and advanced search should be shown above. Search should have an ability where to search in videos by tags or in jobs. In the inner area by default “Search the Jobs… “

What is Category/ Advanced Job Search?
When coming to Category page, we have the advanced search features to find job postings of all companies and listings of individuals. The search should be user-friendly and include just required information. Along with search we need to have Profiles search. This should be done using tabs for different searches to be displayed

What is Individual Profile/Business Profile?
Any user can come to Individual and Business profile using 3 ways at website – Searching at category among profiles or using Quick Search at the top, Searching for Videos and clicking on profile of user that added this video, and the last method to come to users profile page is to find users listings.

 

What is Dashboard – Individual Profile/Business Profile?

By default Dashboard will be shown after user is logged in. In case any action that requires registration, user will come to the page where he made the action. For example, if not signed in or unregistered user clicked on Write message to any individual or company, he should be redirected to login page, and only then, after being logged in, should be redirected to Write Message page with ability to add comment. Where we have Join Us and Login will be shown by a thumbnail image of company or individual with Hi, <username> Log Out. All user profiles links should be at browser like www.workdig.com/profiles/username
